What is your True Image?
Imagine yourself in a painting - what colours would represent you, what light and shade? What form would you take? What would your surroundings look like and what affect would you have on your surroundings?
Like a painting, your image is constructed of colour, light and form. You have your own individual aesthetic that reflects who you are and the symbolic character of your inner nature. As colour and form is a universal language in nature, so too is your aesthetic the language of your nature.

To help one discover one’s subjective form and colours,
is to help one discover one’s self.
-Johannes Itten (1888-1967)

Your Image also evokes an emotional response, and, like a painting, presents an idea. When the idea is activated, that is when your image or the painting comes alive, and fulfils its intention, having its full affect.
Too often though, people have the wrong idea about themselves. This is largely because of the science of perception: although one sees with the eye, the actual impression or image is in fact perceived by the mind. So, when people look in the mirror and see themselves, they can’t be fully objective; if the idea they have of themselves, the one they hold in their mind, isn’t entirely accurate then their image [just like with a painting] will appear distorted - their colours blurred, their light dimmed and their form altered.
Image Profiling by-passes your perceptions to determine your true image. It identifies your ‘archetype’ - the original idea that you are - your ‘Image Type’. Who you are may lie dormant, undiscovered; your Image Type brings it alive and brings your aesthetic into focus. It gives you a model or pattern to follow that is reflective of your nature.
Using your Image Type, you can create an image that reflects your colours, your light, and your form. You can build a wardrobe reflective of your idea or archetype, rather than a wardrobe full of others’ ideas. Once the idea is clear, then you can use style and design to invoke it. You can become your own stylist!
There are 35 Image Types that act as style archetypes, each reflecting different elements of the male or female aesthetic. One will correspond with your true image and define your aesthetic, revealing your individual and unique qualities. The Image Profiling Consultation identifies your Image Type and provides a report with an overview of your aesthetic and the style qualities of your Image Type.
