Sarah Whittaker, an ‘Image Profiler’, set up Insideout™ to help people understand their true image and individual aesthetic.
Working with personal image since ’97, Sarah’s ideas have developed into her own ‘Image Type’ system using 35 archetypes that reflect different aesthetic qualities. Coined “The Wardrobe Shrink" by The Times newspaper for her psychological approach, she works mostly with clients remotely (via web/phone) in Europe, the US, and further afield.
Sarah has been featured in the Sunday Times Magazine, Heat, Psychology Today, NRC Handelsblad... and cited often, including in The Wall Street Journal and Life & Style magazine.
Her passion is identifying and activating a person’s unconscious archetypes and revealing their aesthetic. Colour is a topic of great interest to her - “in nature colour is a universal language that has more than just aesthetic relevance. I believe we too have our own colour signature that reflects our core elements. Our aesthetic isn’t random, but mirrors our inner nature and a greater unconscious plan.”
Born and raised mostly in Brussels, with some time in Paris, and Dusseldorf, Sarah moved to London to study business. Following seven successful years in the corporate arena, Sarah re-activated her own creative archetypes and started her current work in Image and Colour in London. She now lives in the USA with her husband, Brendan - a real shrink!
